Key Moment Cinema is an entirely new way to experience your wedding. Beautiful, soulful, still photos combined with dramatic digital cinema, scored to your favorite music. Because everybody wants to be in the movies.
What Key Moment Cinema is:
Photography and high-definition digital cinema combined to create the idealized yet still real story of your wedding.
Motion clips in Key Moment Cinema are shot in the same style as our still photography, so they blend seamlessly to tell the story. Photography at 24 frames per second.
Key Moment Cinema is always delivered in High Definition. If you don’t have an HD TV now, we’ll give you a high definition DVD along with a standard one so that when you do get an HD TV, you’ll be able to watch your movie immediately.
Key Moment Cinema always includes three photographers, to fully capture both still photos and motion.
What Key Moment Cinema isn’t:
You won’t see 4 hours of footage from the day. Just the best, most meaningful and beautiful moments, seen through a blend of motion clips and still photos.
You won’t see interviews with all the guests wishing you many happy returns. Key Moment Cinema tells the story the way it happens. We don’t create the action, we document it.
You won’t see people eating, Aunt Marge talking into the wrong end of the microphone, or when you almost tripped walking to the reception. Some things are just too real.
Why did we create Key Moment Cinema?
Harry Potter. Remember the first time you saw the Harry Potter movie and saw photos of wizards moving around? We thought how we’d love to be able to show just a little more than photography can show – the movement of the dress, the blowing of the veil, the entrance of the bride through the doors to the ceremony, those “key moments” of the day. We wanted to extend our photography to capture the magic of a first kiss, or the emotional speech of the father of the bride.
Video is “too real” for many people, photography is idealized. One bride and groom put it best when they described their photos as the “idealized version of the day”. When we photograph a wedding, our goal is to present the day as you want to remember it, which is the best parts of the day, the beauty, the details, and the love. Many of the people we talked to don’t want video because they don’t like the sound of their own voice, or don’t want to see the less perfect parts of the day that end up on the embarrassing home video shows. So we’re presenting the “Key Moments” of the day to keep that idealized version of the day in your memories.
Many people don’t watch their entire wedding video more than once. Our goal with Key Moment Cinema is to bring you the story of your day, told in a way that is visually compelling and beautiful whether you’re looking at yourself or at someone you don’t even know. We want the story of your day to be told through still photos, moving pictures, and sound the way you’d watch a movie. So you’ll want to see it again and again.
We believe this is the wave of the future. Technology is advancing so quickly that we envision, not long from now, being able to present a digital album or photo frame just like your traditional photo albums but with a combination of still and motion. It might not exist yet, but it will, and we’ll be ready when the technology catches up with us.
